Hi all,

1/ Is there a Haynes (type) manual for this model please ?

2/ Whereas my old E220 was a W124 series, what series is this one please ?

Check with halfords for the manual . The model number of you new car is 211

It seems that haynes don't embrace mercedes much.

There are lots of models not covered at all, indeed for my 123 & 124 series I had to have 2 manuals to cover each of them.

I am expecting to have to get two for this one also, when/if they do it/them.

The 211 is too new a car. Haynes have only recently done a book for the last C-class (W203). Give it a couple of years when more are being worked on out of the dealer network and a Haynes book should appear. Not that the new ones are a patch on the books of yore.

I don't know how or when they schedule their books.

I'm glad to hear you say that they arn't a patch on the older ones,,,, I thought it was just me !

I've been using them for many years & keep telling my son that they used to cover absolutely everything,,,,

I've tried a couple of alternatives,,,, but they are worse,,,,
