2007 W211 Wheel fitment

Hi guys i'm looking at a new set of wheels and not sure they will fit

i'v done some searching and i'm now more confused than before i started

anyway here are the details and i'm looking to fit them on to a 2007 W211

8.5J front and 9.5J back
front offset ET44, rear offset of ET46
19"

Has no one put a set of CL W215 wheels on a W211 then?

I fitted CLS wheels to mine, so wheels off different models are interchangeable, but the ET's are important as if you get it wrong it will look odd.

I'v had a look and still can't gather exactly what offset i should be needing

The seller has kindly provided details and going by that i'll need 10mm spacers front and 15mm spacers rear but i just want to triple make sure before i buy so there are no problems afterwards

I would have thought 10mm spacers all round would do the job. I know someone who is selling a set of genuine 19" AMG V wheels for a bargain price if you are interested

At the risk of boring others who have seen these piccies before (about a dozen times), here's my E with 19" AMG III wheels from a CLS. The ET of 25F and 28R makes them protrude a little further, filling the arches:

I was the second highest bidder but the guy emailed me to ask if I wanted them as the other bidder was based in London and couldn't collect in person

i'm not too keen on them for some reason Gooldie, don't think they would suit the W211

had a quick look on google and couldn't find anything either

With a CLS ET they go straight on - no spacers.

whats the opinion on 19's as i don't want to ruin the ride i'v got now

I had the same concerns as you.

Mine rides very well because Airmatic smoothes things out. I can say, hand on heart, that there is no noticeable difference.

Don't forget, your're only going from 40 to 35 profile front and 35 to 30 profile rear.

there's allsorts of things going through my head from fitment spacers, rubbing to ride quality because it's quite alot to spend.
