2011 CLS 350 petrol + McLaren 570GT coming in June
Hi.

I'm going to view one of these tomorrow. How do I tell whether it has Bluetooth? Is it standard? The car I am viewing has lots of options and also has Command + the music memory thingy feature but no mention in the ad list for Bluetooth.

Also, what economy are people getting on a motorway run in the real world (I don't believe the claimed 40mpg figure).

Thanks

Hi, Comand is pretty easy to navigate so you'll soon find out if phone pairing works (it should). No idea about the petrol version fuel economy, sorry.

Update. Bought it. Lovely car. 16,000 miles and like new. What a nice drive!

Just over 5,000 miles per annum; no wonder it is like new. Fantastic find. There is definitely fun to be had in S mode with that engine…….just saying.

It's Palladium Silver I think, nice enough and not plain silver. Black interior. I like the cream interior but not cream carpets, how impractical!

Here it is:

I am especially pleased with the long run economy, not thrashing it but certainly not hanging about:

Economy drops to low 30s if there is more town driving, or below 30 for pure in-town driving.

I'm happy as this car is more economical than many diesels and beats the wife's Fiesta on a run (but not in town of course where the Fiesta is better geared/lighter etc.)

Fabulous, and really shows how ridiculous it is that our nation gets so caught up with buying diesel.

I bet there would be no more than 10-15% gain going derv regarding mpg, and you will pay around 7-10% more for it at the pump. And around town and short journeys I bet the petrol will do as well. I know when I went from an E320 to an E320cdi my 9 miles trip into the city saw the diesel use more fuel than the petrol in the winter.

A Mercedes should feel special and refined, and you only get that with a nice petrol imho. I was in an E350 petrol the other day and the difference between that and the E350cdi estate I had was stunning, all the noise and the cheap interior materials I moaned about when I had my cdi seemed to just not be an issue, it felt more S Class, where as mine felt more A Class.

Looks lovely, enjoy it!
