Expletives fail me - just had some scrote key two of my cars, and my girlfriends car.

No CCTV sadly, though I'm pretty confident it's one of my neighbors, who complained several times that "I have too many cars".

Credit where credit is due, called 101 and the chap on the phone offered to set an appointment to send a policeman down to my house to take a statement.

Still fuming though, mainly for Elena's car as she's out of the country for work, so doesn't have any "fault" in my "having too many cars".

Grrr....
M.

That is awful, even if you do have too many cars.

Sorry to read this, still can't understand why someone would do such a thing? For what?

Spineless to$$er.

gutted for you mate, hope you find them and give them what they deserve!

Girl at work had trouble with her old car, decided to cut her losses and struggled to get a new Fiat 500 in a lovely shade of blue.
Within a week someone had keyed it.
What motivates these people? Scum of the lowest order damaging things that people have worked hard for.

There is no logic to pettiness, the judgemental or the spiteful. Hopefully Karma will out and the wheel will cause double the pain and anguish, one way or another. Bide your time as the truth will out ;)

Many years ago I was dating a recent divorcee. Over a few nights her car had tires cut, antenna snapped off. My new Camaro had tires cut, mirrors broken off. Police interviewed her ex (schoolteacher) but no evidence. I ambushed him in his school car park and told him I knew where he lived and it cuts both ways. He denied it but incidents ceased. Creeps are to cowardly to face you but sneak around in the night.
I hope your insurance will cover your damage.

No, I wouldn't be happy to pick up the bill, but I wouldn't be happy to cut off hands; well, not after my blood had stopped boiling...

It's a sign of the times, I'm afraid. The police don't generally have the resources to be interested, even if you had incontrovertible evidence of the perpetrator, and barring tit-for-tat, all you (and I - it's happened to me too) can do is grit your teeth and live with it.

Spent a lot of time and effort a couple of months ago trying to get rid of what appeared to be "keying" on my mates C180. Although only a 2006 model its his pride and joy. We managed to get most of it looking ok , only for the other side to get keyed from front to back. I daresay he would not be averse to giving the culprit a well deserved smack , but of course , nobody actually saw the damage take place.

While I might not amputate hands or other body parts , if I was suitably satisfied as to their guilt , I might be reasonably comfortable with the destruction of the perp's prized possession , whatever that might be .
