i have 1990 300ce. the seat belt arm extends when door is closed and just doesnt seem to stop. it just makes a very irritating grinding noise.
then it will not retract. unless forced back in by hand.
is there a way of repairing these?
main dealer quoted for replacement part @ £350+
ill keep forcing it back in for that money.
any ideas on what to do with this please.
