Hello all -
I bought a 1992 300SL in which the horn doesn't work. When you depress the steering horn pads there is no current at the twin horns at the front of the car. Needless to say, all fuses are OK. I'm assuming there is a problem behind the steering wheel panel.
Question:
1. How do I remove the front panel of the steering wheel without setting off the air bag?!?!
2. Not having a manual I don't know how to trace the circuit back to the steering wheel. Is there a secondary point en route where I can check for current?
3. Does anyone know of the existance of a workshop manual for this car?
