N.B. Maiden post... be kind to me, please!
I'm replacing all the exterior lights on our 315 Sprinter-based motorhome with LED bulbs.
I'm going well, but I've hit a snag with the amber turn/indicator bulbs. They work OK (CANBUS compliant) but because of the low current drawn, the indicators flash too rapidly (HyperFlashing).
The solution is to replace the thermal turn relay with an electronic version. But I can't find where the relay is, which makes things difficult. It must be under the dashboard, and probably close to the steering column, as I can hear it ticking away when the indicators are flashing.
Without finding the existing relay, I can't tell the number of pins and pin layout required by the replacement relay.
Has anyone here replaced their relay with an electronic one? I should be OK once I get some suggestions, but there are myriad different turn relays.
