A-Class Rear Wash Wipe

Sorry for another query so quickly. My wash wipe is obviously disconnected somewhere in the tailgate - something which is supposed to be a fairly common problem. Water runs down the inside of the tailgate and onto the floor instead of through the nozzle.

Can't find any info on t'internet and wondered if it was something I could tackle myself - I couldn't bare to take the car back to my indy again.

They'd probably lynch me...

Is it an old shape A-Class?
I had a similar problem with the electrics to the wiper motor on mine. Became disconnected through slamming the tailgate.
I seem to remember removing the rear internal panel, reconnecting & adding tape to prevent it happening again
