A watery experience today

For the benefit of Druk #19 & Troon #20

Cambridge dictionary: 'Let sleeping dogs lie' is said to warn someone that they should not talk about a bad situation that most people have forgotten about
whilst the Oxford dictionary explains 'would not touch someone/thing with a bargepole', being a long pole used to fend off.

So, if you are going to prod anything, I suppose a bargepole is the best item to use.
:D

I was just about to type that, as it happens. 60mph doesn't sound like "crawling" in highly inclement conditions with restricted visibility.

Whats the Highway code suggest ?

This is why I carefully wrap my air filters in cling film before installing them. They don't get wet, and can be cleaned with the simple wipe of a duster.

I got caught driving slowly through probably a foot deep flooded road in my 330d a very considerate driver in his xc90 plowed through in the opposite direction sending a wave over my bonnett. The resulting damage was bent con rods and the car wrote off by the insurance company. Bmw quoted 18 grand for repairs and stated they see this quite often with water being sucked in!!!! Very poor design
