I've now had my E320 CDI S211 I6 for one whole year. It passed its MOT today. The only fail was parking brake, and only because I'd not got it right after doing the discs and pads. Other than that, a clean pass.
I've put around 15,000 miles on it it that one year, and fingers crossed, nothing to worry about.
I've fixed some little niggles: folding mirror indicator wires; washer fluid pipe to rear window, headlight bulb come adrift. Managed to fix the RH headlamp washer apparently by prayer - it wasn't working 2 days before the test, then the evening before, it magically came back to life!
I got it cheap, and that inevitably meant some work early on, but since then, all is peachy.
Kudos to Mercare in Plymouth, who have done all the work without (quite) bankrupting me!
