ABS control module location W202

Hello,

I'm looking for the ABS control module on my 1996 W202 C230K.

I have this picture of it (found on eBay)

Some say it's located near the ECU, others near the hydraulic ABS unit and some near the fuses, It's not, I can't find it at all in the engine bay, unless it's under the bulkhead where the wiper motor is or maybe under the dash.

Before I start tearing things apart I was wondering if someone would be so kind to point out where this unit is located.

Under the bonnet. Passenger side. Near the bulkhead. Undo the screws for the black box. It's in there.

Found it :bannana:, thanks for your reply anyway, mine is located in the passenger foot-well behind a large flap of carpet and behind that you find a larger metal plate screwed to the foot-well with 3 plastic 10mm nuts, to release the ABS control unit undo the two screws that hold it onto the large plate, unplug all the wiring and you have one ABS control module in ones hand.

FYI, there are other things behind this plate including two fuses, don't know what they are but I will investigate them later.

Right, off to do some testing with my circuit tester.
