ABS light constantly on...

Hi guys,

I was fiddling around with the OVP relay on my 190E 2.5-16. Once i had checked that the two blade fuses were ok i put the relay back but now the ABS light is constantly on!

i have even replaced the relay, but no luck...

Any ideas as to what could causing this?

No, but I'd take it out and fiddle some more until it went out!

i think it will need to be reset, maybe get PCS to do it as you are having some other work done there...

i dont think you can reset stuff on a 190e and in any case resetting it would not mean that you cured the problem, or would it?

not too sure about the 190E, but i know on some later models if the ABS light comes on even once, you need to bridge a terminal somewhere in the bonnet for a few seconds to get it to go out...
