ac/ec button problem

Hello folks

The ac/ec button and 'rest' button on the climate control doesnt work. All others work fine but the ec light stays on no matter if you if press to turn on the a/c and also the 'restt' button doesn't respond.

Any ideas?

Did the test and came back with this conclusion

Your 'EC' light must be off for the A/C to work. If the light will not shut off when you press the 'EC' button, this usually means one of three things: (1) You're low on refrigerant; (2) You have a defective refrigerant pressure sensor (usually caused by excess moisture in the system); or (3) You have a defective refrigerant temperature sensor.

Any ideas on how I can check each one as it sounds like expensive dianostic checks at a specialist.

I had this recently and got it refilled which has sorted the problem.

If you live near a kwikfit that is running the half price (£25) recharge it may be worth giving it a try, the offer ends 28th Feb. I do not so mine cost £68
