Hi.
I was removing my panel to get behind my radio. while disconnecting the air con panel, one of the connections broke. There are 2 connectors on the rear of the panel, large and small. It was the small that broke. Its a bit like a crimp on a cable, which plugs into the rear of the panel. As a result, I was unable to reconnect that cable.
Does anyone know the purpose of that cable? Or even how/where I could replace the connector?
I have found that my air vents are not being controlled anymore. The air is just directed mainly to the passenger foot well. Is this likely to be related? Recently there was a clicking noise, probably an actuator. But that has now stopped. I'm (almost) sure it had stopped before the connector broke.
Is there possibly a link between the cable not being connected and the air vents not being adjusted? Or is the fact that the actuator is not clicking anymore mean it's doing nothing, and so the air ent are not moving?
Thanks,
