Air duct under seat removal difficulties. help!

I need to remove the rear carpet flooring in my w203 c-class mercedes. However in order to do so, I need to previously remove the air ducts under the seats. I tried a few times but they don't seem to move at all out of their position. How can I do this? Am I missing something? kind regards

Not sure about the 203, but I had a lovely time removing the carpets on a 202... I ended up managing to pull out the air duct with some jiggling, but then couldn't get it back under the seat AND aligned with the pipe...

Ended up taking off part of the seat, there are a number of nuts underneat that you should be able to undo...

problem sorted. I had to press in really hard the airduct in order to come out.
