Alloy corrosion

Hey guys . I just got me some nice alloys
for me c class . There 2nd hand from a mate who
is selling his car and put the original 10 spoke alloys on it
just a small question there is a bit of corrosion
on my new ones and wondering any tips on
cleaning them up nicely .

Hi Stu,

If the wheels have corrosion on them and it's covered in a laqcuer/clearcoat finish then your only real option is refurbishment.

You could have them refurbished with a bare/polished finish which can then be maintained with regular metal polish or have the whole wheel painted if you wanted, as unfortunately machined/polished finishes that are then clearcoated don't tend to last for very long.

Loads of places that do refurbishment - you could try a forum search for someone that's local to you :)
