I have just bought these AMG Pentas off e-bay and as usual spent more than I really wanted.
But I think they are getting pretty rare these days and have been looking for quite a while.

eBay - The UK's Online Marketplace

Now a question for you chaps.....

These are for my 500SL 107. I think that I will have the centres painted and the rims polished.

My car is Signal Red with Black Leather and black hood.

1. leave them all painted silver as is

2. Centre painted silver...rim polished

3. Centre Painted Signal Red....rim polished

4 Centre painted Black...rim polished

I would appreciate your help in this poll....thanks

Like yourself I bought some AMGs (not pentas)via Ebay,Unlike you I paid less than anticipated....lol......
Only to get home and be offered a set of (and I quote) "Refurbed" wheels less than a mile from home,.
I fancy doing them in Satin Black or Very Dark Grey.
Given your above choices , I went for Silver,no polish

Thanks for all the votes so far, please keep them coming.....

All silver Ray. Red center is nice but too bling for you. Polished rim is PITA to maintain.

+1 Ray. If you go to resell them, you will have narrowed your market considerably.

Just love these wheels, look best in all silver although silver with polished rims would look awesome on any car.

The color matched centers were more an AMG modification.
Went well with the color match of all the bright work...:thumb:

For me Silver with a polished rim would look great. Less is more.

The red centre I'm just not keen cannot put my finger on why.

Love Penta wheels & would be tempted to leave as is!!
Black centres would hide the beautiful spokes & i think red tends to 'cheapen' the overall look of the car!!
If i had to paint the centres, i'd do them a darkish grey, gives them a more classic racing look & accentuates the spokes!!

bump

Silver with polished rim why? red centres would in my opinion give it the boy racer look and a red car will always look good with silver against it especially crome so the polished outside edges would blend superb.
