Another 190E 2.5-16 with a stunning advert

How does that song go..."dreamer...nothing but a dreamer".

Lovely car but not a snowballs chance in hell of achieving that price surely.

I'm confused (easily done admittedly) by the factory fitted four speed automatic gearbox that doesn't appear in the photo of the interior...?

c955-hes replaced auto-its in his description!
Fantastic car-agreed price is optimistic-but what a car!:thumb:

The notorious zakh, banned from every MB forum in the galaxy, including this one!

c955 - you didn't read on: "In 2008 I opted to remove the automatic transmission and replace this with the 5 speed getrag grarbox [sic]."

Edit - got beaten to it, comprehensively.

I'm confused, he's taken hours writing the sales pitch, but yet taken photo's in two scrappy car parks.

does look very clean

Nice car but no way will he get that price. Very clean car though.

What an advert! How much is the car worth then?

I've seen a few cars of this era (old Cosworth Sierras / Escorts etc.) and quite a few seem to be in the teens and early twenties.

Would anyone actually pay that sort of figure?

4 star classics have a 2.5 190 for £12995 (I think) which has half the mileage with one family owner!
That would seriously tempt me!

I don't think £10,000 for a well-looked-after example of these popular nostalgic cars is unreasonable, but nearing £20k?

Fook that.
