Another dodgy 124 cab

Oh I dunno, other than the bonnet/grill I think it looks good!

There was a 300CE for sale locally a year or so back with a similar bonnet conversion...

Stupid thing covered half the original CE headlights, and the headlight wipers smacked into the bonnet before they reached the end of their arc of travel, so the owner had disconnected them. Niiiiice....

Interesting speaker pods in the rear seat card area - never seen them before. I guess its a Bose system or something.

Agree that it looks nice apart from the bonnet mod. These bonnet mods always make me strongly suspect that there has been some front end damage in the past where an insurance payout justified the expense of the retrofit/remodel.

That's the standard speaker set up for the cabriolet, nowhere else to put them as it doesn't have a useable rear parcel shelf.

Just my opinion but I like the Carllson kit including the bonnet but as as been said it covers half the foglights.

The E320 Sportline is the rarest of all the cabs too, I seem to remember reading on the forum somewhere that they numbered less than 70 imported

The bonnet/grill mod ruins the car but apart from that it looks nice. The single tail exhaust/pipe looks out of place and a twin would look far better.

I dont like the alloys on it though....

I thought the car itself looked nice. Never liked the SEC bonnets on W124s but this one looks okay.
But I always worry when sellers hide their feedback and the car is 1993 but the plate starts with an M. Maybe that's just part of the private plate. Why not show the whole plate?
The front seats have been redone with blue piping but the rear seats haven't.
Also it says 4 speed auto but that looks like a 5 speed gate?
Maybe I should just learn to be more trusting. :D

If that was the case, then that would be illegal.
DVLA will not allow numberplates that make the car appear newer than it actually is (94/95 M reg on a 93 car)

I think it's more likely that the DVLA has an error in it's records - the car is listed as a 1995 first registered in 1993 - that section of the eBay ads fills in automatically off the reg number.

I like as is :D I believe some people in my age bracket would call it phat! LOL

Pimped, but nice, up my street. I think the grill mod works on the car.
