Another iPod Post this time C32 AMG

Hi,

I have what looks like a 3.5mm audio jack point in the top left hand sidewall of my glovebox. Having read some other posts I hoped this would be an iPod connection point for my Comand system.

I bought a 3.5mm lead today and tried it with the iPod to no avail. I put the system setting on the Comand to Aux but it didn't work.

Can anyone help?

It should work - but be-aware that some iPods (1st gen iPhone for instance) have a recessed 3.5mm socket on them, so some leads wont make contact at all with the ipod thus no sound

I'm borrowing my son's 3rd gen ipod nano and it works a treat.
