Any good Indie in Herts/Beds

Hi just purchased a 2003 e320 cdi. I am told by the seller that a B service was carried out approx 3000 miles ago(didn't get a service book). Car now reading C service due in 280 miles. Would appreciate any pointers towards a localish Independant Garage for this service and would anyone know what depth of service this is? Living near Hitchin Herts so anyone nearby would be great.

It was set up by the former service manager at what used to be Pinneys, the main dealers in Harpenden and Hitchin.

Wouldnt touch them with a barge pole...

Took mine ML there few years of years ago to get it a service quote.
It was 350CDi, but according to their 'highly advanced system' it was 300 CDi.
Their excuse for incorrectly identifying the car, was that it had the new blue efficiency engine (despite the fact it was already several months on the market).
Finally, I was told to leave it with them and they will come back to me.

Three years on, and I am still waiting!

why Paul and Andy at Eurocharged, on vale park industrial estate, tolpits lane. Watford... brother has had certain works done on his Ferrari by them, they presently doing work on my E55 and they just serviced my fathers CLK, good, honest chaps, good labour rates too.
