As the title suggests, I changed my phone today to a Nokia N96 and am having trouble pairing it to my SLR bluetooth cradle. I previously had my Nokia N95 connected which Mercedes did for me when I bought the car. I can search and find the bluetooth cradle with the phone, but it won`t pair, I know you need a 16 digit number which should appear on the comand screen, but have no idea how to get to this point  Can someone help please :o

You don't have the BT adapter manual? I should have a copy.

You cannot do it from the phone, it is a bit different for different cars but on my W221 I start from the button on the adapter, press it to make the led flash rapidly. Then I press the "off hook" button until it gives a list of BT devices, select the new phone and it should give the code on the head unit display and the phone should open a code query window.

I guess you already have set remote SIM active from your phone BT menu.

Press the Tel button on the COMAND Press and hold the Star symbol on the SAP puck until the blue leds flash rapidly.
Make sure the phone has bluetooth visible.
Press the Redial soft key on COMAND when the phone is displayed on the screen select it and press OK
COMAND should show 16 digit number, enter into phone within 20sec and ok. Set phone authorise the connection (so you dont have to accept each time) If all went well you will get an ascending tone from COMAND if not, a descending tone, try again

This is from memory, so hope I haven't forgotten a step...

Perfect, cheers guys, took a couple of attempts, but all working now. Many thanks for your help :bannana: :bannana:
