Anyone running a 250d on veg oil!

Hi Guys
I've just bought an 88E plate wd124 250d saloon in order to run it on used veg oil. I've got a supplier of free used veg oil, i've filtered filtered some off and stuck some in the tank ready to use next week.

If there is anyone out there running an older merc on veg oil, ideally a 250d, please get in touch. I would love to get some advice.

Am I right in saying you still have to pay fuel duty on the vegetable oil you use?
