I hope he can get away with this because the tax we pay on fuel is disgusting. Must admit, i have a bad feeling he is going to get badly burned by the powers that be:mad: .
 
I don't see how he can do this. A VAT registered business can only recover the vat, not fuel duty so I can't see how he is doing both.
Also as they are a club, what are they trading so they can be classed as a business.

Classically poor journalism by the BBC. They refer to the EU and a paragraph of legislation but no explanation. There is a reference to an emissions saving device as well - again no explanation.

I don't know if I'm just being cynical but something doesn't look right in that video. All the Big MVPA stickers everywhere make it look like somewhat of a mock-up.

I think that's probably to cover up the undoubtedly large logos the previous owner of the petrol station had. Wish it was near me though, I'd take a tanker!!
 
well point 6 looks expensive

Does it. £150 for insurance.. Ok it's only minimum cover but it's cheap. The £600 excess is to get the price down and stop fraudulent claims.
