Back to the old skool

Initial reaction was YESSS! but then reading the very fair write-up I would have a very sight hesitation :o :o

looks really nice.. shame its the 220 engine...

' .... Very reasonable reserve price as fitted with non standard 6 Cylinder carburated engine ( believed 280S engine) .... ' ;)

You have to love that shape.

My brothers W108 280S (See my sig) will be getting a full respray as soon as we can source one more wing.

All the doors and bodywork have already been professionally de-rusted :)

That looks quite a nice 'Summer floater' and could be a decent investment........well, compared to houses at the moment.:D

And todays topical quiz.
What's the Merc in the background in 3rd picture down.?

R230 Sl

Very, very tempting....

has he glued a repeater to the flank above the rear wheel or did they come like that?

Non original so not worth much except as a summer runabout or a basis for a proper restoration. £2,000 max.

I would love that.

I could see me cruising down the seafront in that.....mmmmm

Could drop a nice 300 Turbodiesel engine in there...
