Bad experience on a HID conversion kit

Bad news.

Regarding this STAR thingy, I've spoken to MB service team manager today & been told that there is no way to upgrade my W211 to Xenon light via STAR. MB technician couldn't find the 'Xenon' option on my W211 via STAR thus he couldn't enable it for me to fit my own Xenon conversion.

He also told me that they have never done a retrofit of Xenon conversion on any MB in there garage as they all came factory fitted.

****e...waste my Xenon kit...

Has anyone actually did a real HID xenon conversion on W211??? I really couldn't find it through searching in this forum...any help would be much appreciated.

these worked when i had the same problem on my 2006 zafira, come on for a second then goes off again, dip beam bulb fail showing on the display in the dash

Great. I just tested them by connecting the ballast to battery directly & the light is on with a brilliant icy cool white/blueish color (6000k)~

Will get the STAR thingy sort out this Fri
