hi i have read online about these battery draining its not that clear how people have solved it... on my own car (2001 w220 s320cdi) the battery drains after a few hours or it doesn't drain for a day or too.. don't why and how to check ... when ever i leave my car for more than 5 hours i take off the red wire off my battery so it saves me calling the AA ....
so can someone please help me or recommend me a good garage to sort this out thank you

Check your air suspension is not leaking. Battery can drain keeping it level and can be an expensive fix. The only clue prior to that was an occasional warning light telling me to take the car to the workshop. Took it to MB and they could not find a problem, it was only when the battery failed that another dealership identified the problem as the air suspension pump. £3000 later problem solved! No more battery problems. Ouch!
Hope yours is a simpler fix.
