From balancing my motorcycle tyres i would say somebody has taken their time and balanced the wheel and tyre seperately and then together. Tyres usually come with a dot on which most tyreshops line up with the valve before they balance the whole thing, this is the lazy way of doing it. That's from my experience so it could be just a load of *****

Someone asked about locking nuts: they are a dealer fit option. They don't come fitted as standard from the factory. The dealer fits them as part of the PDI.

Does it mean you cannot send it back if you break the bit of tape on the doors??

Personally I would lose the red paint on the calipers & also smoke the rear red lights for more subtlety

Certainly does look good.

My E350 is black and looks superb when washed. Unfortunately I don't think it'll stay clean long after a wash for a few months now

I always wondered what the dot on the alloy was for on mine!

It's a great feeling going to see your car at the dealer with the door seals still on and knowing it's yours - it's a terrible feeling having to then walk away and come back another day after PDI.

Ha ha ha ha.... Thanks bud, yes I will give a full sp on the beast tomorrow and let you know how the pick up goes. Ive got the detailer down there at 8:30 tomorrow in which he reckons he'll be done by 3 oclock and the privacy glass gets done at 12 which again should be done by 3.

As for sleep tonight..... not a chance!
