Give the wheel to your girlfriend as a christmas present!!!:D

Good to see you have sorted it, shame to see these beasts imperfected in anyway.

I saw a black one last night on my way home from work with D1UEL on the plate.... nice...

Thanks mate..

I'm seriously thinking of making it into a coffee table now as suggested with the damage as a reminder everytime she looks at it;) It was agood w/end away so at least we will now have a souvenir... (I'm only saying that just to make myself feel better...;) )

Did you look at all the wheels before borrowing the car? It would be a great punchline to the whole story if, when the owner got back, he said

"Oh, what's happened to the wheel? It was kerbed when I left it, I'm sure I scuffed it last week before I left...."

The car was immaculate and first thing I did was give it the full once over and the wheel was spotless prior to the incident and I heard it crunch…

I was def responsible for the damage…

Look forward to pics of the coffee table ...

I’m going to have a word with one of our Polish carpenters who is superb with his craftsmanship and see what he can do…! ;)

Does the car have a matching spare ? If not , your mate might like the kerbed one for a spare ??

I would rather keep the wheel myself now to be honest...:p

He is not the type of man to change the wheel himself if he was to get a flat or break down and would just call out the Recovery people...) ;)

I doubt the Bentley has space for a full size spare. Most cars these days have a space saver or a generic standard size steel wheel for 'get you home' situations. Nice idea though.

How times change !

My Ponton has TWO full size spares , there's a well at each side of the boot !

Glad its sorted, must have been a worry for you.
