Best oil for W124 E320 Coupe ??

What’s the best type/brand of oil to put into my 1992 e320 coupe? I have a couple of packs of Mobil 1 in the garage – it this suitable or would I be better with a semi synthetic or mineral oil? The car has done 80k. I plan on keeping the car as its mint so would like to pamper it – the Mobil can go in my Ariel Atom.

Any advice or thoughts welcome.

Semi-synthetic 10-40

Mobil 1 is very good oil and suitable for the car. I have however found issues with minor oil leaks -front crankshaft seal- when running a full synthetic 5-50. This problem disapppeared when I reverted to a semi-sythetic 10-40 shell helix.
I change it plus filter at 5,000 miles rather than the recommended 9,000. kinda depends on the use the car gets. LOTS of posts on the forum about this topic

I use Millers XSS in both mine and have found it an excellent oil. Cost effective too (means cheap )

Mobil Super S

Mobil Super S gets put in the S500 and the E280 i had previously.

I believe it's a semi synthetic oil, the garage I use swear by it and I remember them saying that a fully synthetic would be far too thin an oil for these older engines.
