Best places to advertise/sell?

As the better weather starts to show itself, it's time to advertise my 1993 300SL (money required elsewhere).
I tried Autotrader late last year (probably the wrong time to advertise a convertible?) with very little interest other than the occasional chancer offering half the advertised price.
Any thoughts on where to advertise?

Any help/suggestions appreciated.

I'd start by placing an ad on Classic cars. The ad is free I understand so nothing lost in trying there first.

eBay, virtually everyone has an eBay account (car people or not).

You can create large adverts with no restrictions or image size limits.

^ Also, Gumtree was great for selling my wife's old A160. Advertised at 5pm and sold at 8pm same day! You do get a lot of tyre kickers on Gumtree though with no intention of buying, just trying to knock the price down although that isn't only applicable to Gumtree.
