Birds Eye Maple Install

It does look classy. Much better than cheapo aluminium. Well done Tudu, lookin' good.

I think you'll find it's actually,

Wood version, Bird's Eye Maple black/anthracite (732)

Looks very nice Tudu!

' Thought you'd of gone the carbon fibre route. But the BEM looks very classey.

Thanks. The only CF interior i could find was the tacky stick on stuff, and Kleemann wanted silly money for their CF parts, as they are hand done once you send them a photograph of what you want.

Having seen whitenemisis and venomous cars at the Midland GTG i was swung over by the BEM.

That's the decription because it has a dark lacquer, but the wood under it is brown. Look at yours in good daylight/sunshine, the light then penetrates right down to the wood, instead of reflectoing as much.

BEM is THE BEST interior finish for a Merc.

I must have missed Tudu being swung over Venomous and WN's cars.. would've made a good picture..
Is being swung by the BEM similar to being swung by the gonads...

Nice one - should have said i was won over by the sheer classiness and quality of the BEM finish in their cars. Would have defo made a good picture - wonder who did the swinging.

Tudu - Now all you need is heated seats....

Adam

Thought about it but understand all the seat covers have to be pulled off to fit the heater elements big job and me thinks that will be pretty expensive.

Looks fantastic!!

In response to the question, it must have been available for the pre-facelift W203 at some point, as the C32 AMG roadtested by Autocar magazine had it fitted - I've never seen one anywhere else though.

Buying the AMG for heated seats is a bit extreme

See if he will do a deal for 4 seats at the same time !! I think he will have to get his trim guy over to do it any how - would make it worth his while.

It's a new second car, that has heated seats as standard. Not just buying it because it has heated seats, it has load of other extras. Will post once i have completed the deal. Just not sure whether i will have heated seats fitted to my C200K.

Now I know this thread is relating to the facelift W203...
Does anyone know if the centre console in the pre-facelift W203 is the same as that in pre-facelift CL203 (C-coupe). The dealer is on the case(trying  ), but bless 'em they've been wrong before more than once
I suspect the console is the same in which case this transformation may be possible in my c-coupe, assuming that they do a pre-facelift BEM ??.....
Thanks for any help, Matt
