See the little black box that sits at the back of the engine?

This is what I want to identify.

I'm trying to figure out what it is.

I have seen lots of 63 engines and some of them have this black box, and some don't!

Lots of bigger pics there, and they all seem to have it.

Perhaps your cars been in an altitude incident the black box hasn't been returned by the CAA yet

But all the guys on here with C63's have this black box.

Even Rob (AMGBlack) on here, with the 2007 CLK Black Series has this box.

My CLK63 is also a 2007, but does NOT have this box.
