3 rd star. I am pleasantly surprised that mine hasn' gone missing yet.

Some oik tried to remove the tailgate star on my 124 estate the other week. Thought he could prise it off with a penknife 
Result: bent star still firmly attached to tailgate, with accompanied scratches to paintwork
Bonnet star still unmolested at the moment, but I fear it's only a matter of time.....

My CCTV is very well trained on it at home, the car never faces out of the drive. But one day from shopping i can see it finding a new home on someones stainless steel neck chain.. or on ebay
