Boot bag or boot rack? E350 Cab

I have an E350 cab and need to create a little more luggage space for the summer trip with the family. Has anyone on here had any experience with the boot bags that strap to your boot lid? Alternatively has anyone fitted a boot rack to an E350 cab? The boot bag seems the most flexible option that could be used on other vehicles. My main concern with this option is the boot mounted antenna on the E350? The rack would solve this problem but would only fit this car and would mean I need to buy a waterproof bag on top of the £200 for the rack.

Use one of those under bed plastic storage bags that you compress by vacuum cleaner to remove the air. If they seal well enough to keep air out they should keep water out.
