Okay so first off heres my problem.. the antennae seems to be stuck on the lifted position, but i still get stations to pop out on the radio.. but the radio makes no sound, not even static, and doesn't detect the cd changer at all..

i asked around and my mechanic said its my amp, as did alot of forums..
so i finally got a new amp, and was about to hook it up.. but when i pulled the harness out

looks like 3 pins are missing? as you can see its like a blank space.. is it supposed to be like that? and when i pulled the harness out it won't go back in so i'm unable to connect the new bose amp.. did i break the harness or something?

You have a 1995 c280 right? Its quite a common thing that connectors like the one shown in the picture don't have all the pins fitted-its just there is no need for them. Here's a link to a schematic of the wiring harness for a c280 of that age-I don't know if the US versions are any different? Êàòàëîã
You will have to trace the wiring back a little [behind the panelling if necessary] to see if you have disturbed anything else or pulled off any other connectors? there is a fuse box back there IIRC so might be worth checking that out also.

thanks, also do the symptoms sound like its the amp? and have any idea why the connector won't go back in?
