Broken bonnet badge.

Please can someone help and advise me on how to repair my now broken star badge.

I suspect that it was bent out of shape by pesky kids taking snow off the bonnet of my E500, but either way, I noticed this morning that it was not straight.

When I went to straighten the bonnet badge out – ping- it came off in my hand.

So, I am left with the star badge and a kind of ball joint, which it looks like the badge would have been attached to originally.

Any advice on how to get this replaced, repaired and back adorning the front of my motor?

Buy a new one from the stealers, less than £20 me thinks.

Buy a new one, easy to fit, grab with pliers from underneath, 1/4 turn, lift out.

I know how you feel mate, someone ripped the badge off of mine the other day as well. . .
