The SL60 has moved on to a new owner much quicker than I had planned or hoped. Was going to sell next year but a well know forum member contact me and a deal was done.
I am sure you will hear and see more about the car over time. The new owner will certainly look to improve it to keep it in fine fettle for many years to come with another classic model added to his collection.
I'll leave it for you to guess or him to say who the new owner is!
Good luck with the car and I'm sure she will be as good to you as she was to me. I have to be honest that it was the first car I remotely got close to being emotional about it leaving my ownership. Don't get me wrong as I didn't shed a tear and won't lose any sleep over it but I was in a foreign place for a few minutes. I have only experienced this feeling during extreme levels of grief, stress and hassle at work with the businesses(most days!).
A fantastic car and I will never forget the joy it gave in all conditions at all times. I could never see why it was £100k back in May 1997 but over 2 years of ownership I started to see why.
See you again soon P935 AAA. Just got to fill her place with a more appropriate car now!
