Got cold I did the £12 hose replacement mine was complete gone. My mpg drop to around town 20/25 but on run get 38, so I decided to
Disconnected mag sensor recently and
My mpg has got much better engine light is now on,
Can I get the Siemens part of the MAF replaced rather then replacing the whole part,
If so where from? What's the best replacement
Parts to get
Cheers in advance

OK cheers

You may have engine oil in your wiring loom.

Hi there, not sure if your problem is solved, but I have just had the same thing happen. Have you tried cleaning the MAF sensor? Just taken me 20 mins using a specialist sensor cleaner - also changed the air filter at the same time.
Took 2 short runs, the second using sharp acceleration up some inclines, and problem seems to be sorted.

I replaced the MAF with one I picked up from a breakers cheaply as a test and I'm still getting the same sort of mpg.
what wiring are should I be checking ?
im happy with the mpg on a run nearly 40mpg and on A roads to work can get upto 30's its the local roads at 22/25 are not great.
