Quick update from me (and yes, my 335i did average 26mpg over 2 years - 70% of my driving is in the bmw lane on the Motorway)
Got to say I'm well impressed with the C250 so far. Feels planted at speed, ride + handling + steering up to scratch. Not ragged it yet, averaged 47 mpg in 420 miles in the last three days, mainly motorway though. (passed the half way mark on the fuel gauge at 320 miles).
I need to spend a lot more time working the command out (5 years of I drive is embedded on my brain) , i.e how do I get the hard drive to record my CD's is just the start, but with Absolute 80's on the DAB all the time I'm not too concerned.
Not seen another c class coupe yet, which is kind of nice.
Also concerned about locking my keys in, need to change some settings.
Impressed with the stop start and the graph that shows fuel consumption that I found by accident.
Noise wise, well its 'alright' - not the volume that's a problem, just the 'note' , the 335i engine is something special, this engine is just very different.
