C270 cdi engine mods

Hi

I have a 2003 c270 cdi, I want to get more power out of it I've taken both cats out and removed the backbox so it's straight through, anyone got any decent power out of these?

Well AMG used the 2.7 lump for their über rare C30 so I'm sure there's plenty of scope...

I've owned a few Mercs with that engine and they're an absolute cracker, good luck with your mission.

Mine made 242bhp and 730nm of torque, I still had more plans but some one went up my are and wrote my vehicle off!

Not really, Turbo will spool up quicker is what your notice most

Good point made with the turbo. So many people get their cars mapped right up and they're fuelling the engine so hard that it's still burning on the turbo or the turbo is over speeding . If you want lots more pressure then a properly sized turbo with a good pressure ratio is essential for the longevity and reliability of a lot of the engines components.
