When I tried to start the car this morning, the engine turns over but will not run. I had a problem yesterday. I left the car standing for 3 days aand when I started her up she turned over and afterreleasing the key she kept rying to start for about 10-15 secs then she fired up.
I also noticed that there is oil/diesel on the drive belt at the front of the engine.
Mobilife came , The fuel pump is split, He didn't have one, they apparently cost about £800. Car is going to Hughes in Aylsebury, National are bringing a hire car.
Interestingly the mobillife guy is self employeed and they run as a franchise.
Spoke with Hughes of Alysebury Where the car went and they have no idea to the problem. Not sure if this means they haven't looked or if there is more than just a fuel pump problem.
