Spotted this on Pistonheads

Been in contact with seller, The car is supposedly in Spain and seller says she will arrange transport to UK. Seller says she is in the Royal Navy and is being deployed to Germany and desperate to sell this week.

But won't answer any questions about the car. So beware it may not be what it seems.

Car is cheap but maybe that's the ploy to get you to part with your money.

It has also been for sale a LONG time if indeed its the same scam...

These Spain, Portugal, Italy etc foreign shipping scams have been around for a while now, and are not just confined to Pistonheads, but Autotrader, eBay and others.

Sounds just like the Focus ST my brother enquired about last year. The vendor even offered Escrow, but got edgy when we suggested we choose the escrow service to use.

Get your barge pole out and then walk away.

Report it to Pistonheads and it will be removed. I think I have to do this once a week at the moment. Autotrader is just as bad.

Very similar to an Audi S3 I enquired about a few weeks ago.

I've reported it to Pistonheads and let them take the necessary action.
I suppose all the scammers need is one or two people to fall for their scam and it'll be a nice little earner.
