Had the dreaded "brake liner wear" come up. Not unexpected as the service sheet suggested new disks at next pad change, and they were low. Question is, Merc oem parts or aftermarket? I don't do track days or prolonged heavy braking! What have other '32 owners done?

The price of genuine discs and pads for older models at Mercedes has come down considerably. I just bought rear pads for my E55k from Inchcape Oxford last week. The price was only £8 dearer than Pagid from ECP. Really helpful when I phoned them. Might be worth you checking them out

The OEM parts are thoroughly reasonable, so much so I replace the discs when I change the pads. I say I change the discs, I actually mean Acid changes the discs!! :)

Anyone know what the current list price for '32 front disc, pads and wear sensors is? Tried using the inchscape site but couldn't find em! Thanks

The Inchcape website is a bit rubbish unless you know the part number. Give them a call. I ended up buying belts and filters with my pads. The parts guy was really helpful. After being given the correct part no's I searched on the website and was pleased with the prices. These are currently on fleabay....
