C350 Detailed (by hand, no machines)

you can have the car from Mon am to Fri pm so you can do the whole thing :)

Lol maybe when I'm retired but at the moment I need to earn my normal living. Happy to help you make a start though. The trouble is that it gets dark by 6.30pm so evenings are out and every Sunday is out, most Saturday afternoons and evenings are out, so that leaves me free on the odd Saturday morning and a few free hours during the week. I only manage to do mine to the standard I do because I can do odd half hours here and there.

These are images of motivation - I can sense a new hobby coming into play on a Sunday morning. Looking great.

LOL. Well it gets you outside, you talk to your neighbours (rare!) and it's good to have the car looking good!

Ahh it rained!

Still my paint is looking pretty waterproof! :bannana:

you use the car in the rain??

the joys of putting on your wipers to clear the screen driving 100 yards, press the brakes and all the water from the roof gushing down your windscreen then again the next time you brake, but after a short journey with a wet car its dry and clean :D nice work mate love a bit of detailing, hooked on it tbh

LOL I did that today :D

likewise :D its a tad annoying but satisfying knowing the water isnt stuck to the paint :D

The rain has stopped, maybe just time for a 7th coat!

7th Coat complete and then inspected under car park lights. Getting there!

The roof is about as perfect as I can physically get it but I've still got work to do on the boot and bonnet. Sides are now OK.

Looks great, top job!
Thanks Adam, I still have micro scratches which you would only see with the naked eye on the bonnet. I think i'll do an 8th coat later in the week and then use some diluted c2 and see if it is any better.

Beautiful car and detail!! Love the photo of the boot lid and rear window, hardly any difference between the two.

Nothing can beat a properly detailed black car - I just don't think I'd have the patience!

İt looks really cool!

Wow! I sooo wish my car looked like that! I just can't seem to get that finish from the Serbs who wash it! :D:D It has so many swirl marks now polishing probably won't help :(

I do keep the interior immaculate though, also using that AG vinyl polish. Lovely lemony smell too! :)

LOL I once knocked over a bottle of it with the top off! Very lemony for weeks.
