C350e anyone considering one?

Just been informed my C350e estate PP+ with privacy glass & tow bar will be with me mid March, only a 6 month wait!

Were you quoted 6 months all along? Or did it get delayed?
Seems delivery estimates have dropped quite a bit as I'm only being quoted 2 1/2 months.

Looks like everything is finally sorted, amended contract, with government grant included done. Connect me will be connected and outside temperature display will be displayed. Awaiting phone call from MB to arrange delivery date.

8 months in total, heyho.. Must admit lost a bit of interest and enthusiasm for the car over the time it's taken to nearly get here. Been rebuilding a Viento in the meantime, which has only taken 6 weeks, new engine, gearbox prop electrics brakes dash seats etc looking forward to hooning that down the road more than anything. Lol

Quick update. I am now regularly getting late 30's to early 40's on mixed 40 to 60 mile runs without pre-charging. Better than the late 20's when I first got the car. Maybe part due to having the personal set up as , Eco engine, Sports steering (gives a bit more feedback), sports suspension (helps improve the look with lowering the suspension on 17's), haptic feedback on (why not) and comfort climate settings.

Using Eco mode setting for the engine seems to have curbed my need to boot it everywhere and the big plus side is you seem to hardly brake as the car keeps an eye on the car in front and engine brakes to regen and keep a safe distance. Very clever indeed. If/when you do want the extra kick in performance, it's just one flick down from the I (individual) setup to Sports+.

To still take advantage of pre-heating I just put the car into charge mode 2-3 miles from home. Seems enough to clear the frost in the morning.
I've uploaded some pics of my blue beauty from previous posts into an album if anyone's interested.

You are using yours exactly as I use mine with the exception that I have my set up as Sport+ suspension and steering. Get 40's on long journeys and 80's when I charge home to work.

Best part is one flick to Sport+

Sorry typo, delivery mid May not March . Yes always been quoted 6 months for my new car.

Quick question though for those already enjoying theirs...... does the battery fully charge up on a decent run?

In charge mode yes I've had the battery fully charge up with an indicated range on 16 miles in the cold weather.

Sorry to disappoint ... it took 8 days from factory to dealer for mine.

Well it is still not at the garage

Im abroad next week so its going to be the week after at this point. Unless it comes in today, they recon they can get it to me Monday morning which i could do on the way to the airport.

Really hoping i would be rolling in it this weekend, but not to be.

What was the journey length in charge mode to fully charge?

I would guess it charged in about 30 miles of motorway at 70 mph

I wanted it charged for the non motorway section of the journey at the other end

Yes! Getting mine in Monday, connect me already up and running (been annoying the guys in the workshop!) brilliant since I ordered it on the 9th Feb! Let's hope it doesn't not have the water ingress issue! I'm hoping that mod has array been done at the factory.

I don't get how people have ordered recently and are getting delivery before other.

I ordered a Brilliant Blue PP Saloon. First week of September and its due mid April.

I would not mind but have a C200d AMG Line company pool car and its costing me £200 a month in tax and contribution.

A beauty indeed. Not to be pedantic but the interior is artico grey! Not a fan of beige myself (each to their own). The interior looks well against the blue, especially at night where it reflects the blue ambient lights like the inside of a limo: )
