C350e anyone considering one?

Thanks for the photos. I had already ordered that colour combination so feel vindicated it looks as nice as I had hoped! Everyone's been telling me I should have gone for the black leather...
So glad I didn't.

Mine has a comm number and ETA to dealer of end November. 7 months in all, only thing I've waited longer for is my child!

Very strange no mb dealers have demos yet and wheels are not a option on C350e what your take on it JBD ? .

It's taken longer for it to arrive in the UK, that link is a left hand drive car. We're expecting our first demonstrator in about 6 weeks. It does seem to have been delayed a bit though. There's one set of wheels you can upgrade to, but they push up the CO2

If you look on MERC.de and do a config of the C350e, you will see the germans get a vast range of wheel options including the 19's which are on that link..

Mercedes-Benz Deutschland - Konfigurator - Konfigurator C-Klasse S205 AMG

They also dont seem to get the touch pad as standard though ? plus a lot of other kit missing by default.

that's madness we are so restricted for Mercedes in this Country , I have got to have the 18" on my car as prem plus anyway ...the 19" must put up the co2 even more ...never mind I have convinced the wife on the blue with gray leather so decision is now made and I think it's the right one ..thanks for the pics made it Easyer :bannana:

Ok den angegebenen Verbrauch von 2,1 Litern auf 100 Kilometer hab ich nicht erreicht aber auch 7,6 Liter nach 400 Kilometern (Autobahn, Stau, Stadtverkehr) mit dem neuen 279 PS starken Mercedes-Benz C 350 e sind schlichtweg grandios.

Da kann man ruhig mal Beifall klatschen. wink emoticon

Mehr dazu demnächst im GETBI Magazin.

Foto: marioroman picturesI have not reached the specified consumption by 2.1 litres on 100 kilometres OK but also 7.6 litres are simply terrific after 400 km (motorway, traffic, city traffic) with the new 279 HP of strong Mercedes-Benz C 350 e.

There you can applaud quiet times. wink emoticon

More to do so soon in the GETBI magazine.

I have a question purely out of curiosity... How much will it cost to charge the C350e batteries? Does anyone know how to figure out the costs? Obviously it will depend on your tariff but interested all the same.

I worked out kwh to between 7 and 8, based on 230V and 8A, over 4 hours. Probably completely wrong though! :-)

I used 4 hours for domestic 3-pin charging, as that's what the documentation said which someone linked to a few pages back. Seems more reasonable than the 2 hours which MB were quoting.

I don't know where I heard it or saw it but from home charge it's about £1

Not sure on costs per kw wise, but the car "should" charge in 1 hours 45 mins off 16amp i think i read.

8kWh is about 88p on my current tariff. So tallies with the £1 Deane x has heard. £1 seems a reasonable figure to use.

yeah wasn't sure on UK/US gallons :)

If I get 60mpg on the C350e I'll be happy!

I was planning around 45mpg average to make it just about worthwhile for a hybrid

You may or may not of seen my latest posts on the "What do you want to know" thread where JBD has kindly replied. -

http://www.mbclub.co.uk/forums/general-discussion/189887-what-do-you-want-know-20.html

I have ordered the premium pack but not ordered the "Remote Services" which is detailed on the MB site, (cant recall seeing it on my order options but may of missed it.)

The question I have is will I have PRE-Climate control which is managed by the app.

JBD has advised hes under the impression I would need to add the Remote Services option, however from reading the PDF's, it would suggest "REMOTE ONLINE" is standard ?

This is available as an option in conjunction with Audio 20 CD, and standard with COMAND Online. Remote Online is standard with electric drive and plug-in hybrid. Use of the Remote Online equipment option is limited to three years from first registration of the vehicle and can then be extended at extra cost

What are peoples view on this ?

Thank you

Surely the Remote Online stuff is essential for any type of electric car to be able to tell your charge levels etc.?

I would be very surprised if you didn't have it.

Thats my thoughts too and also for pre-heating to save battery when the car connected to a charge point.

Thanks

It was certainly my understanding that remote online facility was included on the prem plus??

Hope someone can confirm this!
