C55 Electronics- how do you work them?

I wonder if anybody can help me with a few minor niggles I'm having:

1. how the hell do you turn off traffic announcements even when I turn this off on the menu I still get my liistening pleasure interrupted by a tailback through the high Street in High Wycombe caused by a farmers market.

2. it seems there is a function on there weather mirrors automatically fold in when you turn the car off I can't seem to get that going either.

any advice would be greatly appreciated!

1. have a look in the handbook for the instructions to turn off the TA

2. You need some coding changed to switch on the folding mirrors.

Hi - I had this problem too to begin with and I agree it's a pain. When you're in radio mode, make sure that the TA button shows 'TA on'. That fixes it.
Not sure about the mirror question. I just press the button to fold them in when needed!

As blackc55 and r2d2 have said, you need someone with a star machine to set the coding so they will auto fold (the mirrors will auto open when you open driver or passenger door, and auto fold when you press button on key fob to lock the car) and if like mine you have memory seats you can also have P/S mirror tilt on reversing. Easy to do, but you need someone with a star machine either Olly at PCS or the guys at comand (Alfie or Richard).

If you get your mirrors "re-coded" there are other coding that can be done too....like removing the kph and letting you see temp ..how much fuel left in tank...tyre pressure monitoring...
