I know it's a regularly asked question but I was just about to swap the winter tyres off when I remembered the rear summer rubber is almost bald.

The rears are currently Yokohama and have lasted circa 7k, any recommendations to replace them with and also any decent deals around at the moment?

Anyone ever tried these, I seem to recall Falkens always used to get good write ups?

Or am I better off going with Conti or Pirelli?

Most would say that Michelin PSS are the best, but in many cases its personal choice. The problem I find is if you want to change make then you have to change all 4. My rears are almost cooked, but fronts have plenty of tread left. Currently on Pzeros and would probably change for PSS, but don't really want to change the fronts for the sake of it. I might give the new Pzero Silvers a go.

thanks, I've found PSS for £393 plus shipping for a pair which doesn't seem too bad. I'm not overly fussed about mixing tyres as it came with Contis on the front and Yoko on the rear when we bought it from Oxford Mercedes last year

Nice price, where was that from?

I've got them on the rears and now need some fronts.

Under £400 is a good price. Nice to see another C63 Estate owner in Oxfordshire....... I don't see many estates so will keep my eye out for yours (what colour?) :thumb:

Defo the Michelin PSS, last quite a bit longer too.

Go for 265s as they fit nicely but protect the wheel rim a bit better.

Had Yokos originally then Goodyear Eagle F1's now on PSS running 275 on rears. Great tires.

I have 275s on mine and no problems PSS

Silver de-badged 11 plate. It's my other half's car and she drives from Brackley area to Abingdon every day. It has a Pistonheads badge on the back so keep an eye out

PSS is way to go, have CS3 on fronts no problem with the mix. 265 on rear is a good size.

Thanks chaps, now can anyone find them for less than £419 delivered (pair) I'd really like them by Tuesday?

Will keep an eye out, I live not far from Abingdon and am regularly there visiting the in-laws.

Tyre leader wouldn't accept my John Lewis or Visa cards so in the end went with Camskill who also rejected my JL card but did finally accept the Visa. Unfortunately neither took Amex so no air miles this time.

Hopefully some new rubber to put on for next weekend and I'll smoke the old ones

Is that on your stock 507 correct rims or your HRE's?

I need a new set of rears, currently running 265's but would like to go a little bigger if possible.

J.
