I am glad I did not purchase them due to the price increase, I bought from camskill for £ 392.00 incuding PP

Hi guys, can you tell me how you get the tyres fitted once they're delivered? Last time I tried I had huge problems finding anyone interested in fitting them and in the end I was charged something like £140 to balance, fit and dispose of the old tyres. This meant most of the savings from buying online were eaten up. After that experience I often end up buying from my MB dealer (MB World Brooklands is surprisingly reasonable) or sometimes use Event Tyres as their prices are fully inclusive and they come to your address to fit the tyres.

The My Tyres website offers a fitting service.

Enter your post code in the blue box under their phone number on the top right of the page and a few options appear.

What I've found is that several of these fitters will price match, so it's always handy to call in before committing to buy from the web and end up running about with a boot full of tyres trying to get someone to fit them.

Oh, and I don't usually use the firm above, I use THESE people. They have your Falken listed at £142.50 but they're out of stock. The cynic in me wonders how much they are when they're in stock.

They do however have Vredestein listed at below £170 each, which, to me, is good value for an excellent tyre.

Hopefully the tyres will arrive tomorrow, just rang my local fitter who will fit for £15 a corner.

My local protyre is happy to fit them for me. Last time it cost me a round of cokes from the vending machine for the boys working in the bay (less than a tenner)

V8sam, you've done well, I've not had my confirmation yet that mine have been shipped. Hope they arrive tomorrow and if so will have them fitted tomorrow too. If so will take photos

Tyres arrived a 7:20 this morning and fitted at 8:20 by Tyre Warehouse - Brackley slightly annoyingly I found out they could have supplied and fitted the tyres cheaper than Camskill. For anyone interested they quoted me £414 for 2 x Michelin Pilot Super Sport 265/20/19 fitted

Small world, I'm about 5 mins from Brackley in one of the surrounding villages.

Nope, no spacing at all they fill the arches pretty well as it is.

Alex have you noticed any difference in comfort or ride compared to the 265 ?
looking at the pictures I noticed the tyre seems to give a bit more protection to the rim.
